It was Switchfoot mania on the 2nd of Feb.We arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center around 4 sumting sumting.Waited for ameera’s friend,wei meng to pass us the tics.he is also the guitarist for a local band called Love Me Butch. Anyway,we should have stayed inside the hall.thanks to me,we had to sit and wait behind at least 150 people in the freaking long line.Yes Ilianna,you’re an idiot.

Anyway after waiting for like 2 hours in the line with an empty stomach,the line started moving.We(eka,ameera and i) started to make our move to the front of the line.the next thing i knew we were in the hall!haha.its was more to swimming our way to the front of the line.Anyway,we had to wait and wait,again.Then Love Me Butch performed.and some other band too.cant remember the name.The guys of switchfoot were peaking through while they were performing.
Finally,Switchfoot came on!! woohoooooo……damn!they look so hot!.Anyway,I think they opened the show with Oh!Gravity..they also played Meant to live,we are one tonight,stars,dare you to move,fire,american dream,dirty second hand and Awakening(my fav song).I got separated form ameera and eka.Im used to rocking out alone,so being me,i was jumping like a maniac!

After the show,we stayed at the gate waiting for the band.and the dudes on stage was like giving away some of the stuff on stage such as guitar picks,water bottles,napkins, and the song set list.i really wanted the guitar pick and the set list.but this dude was like not paying attention to us.then another dude came on stage.and we started shouting at him.he threw Tim’s napkin in the air and i caught it!i gave that to ameera.then i got Jon’s evian water bottle and eka got Tim’s water bottle.

So after the concert,there was a meet and greet and yes a lot of people stayed back after the show.So after being squashed again in the line it was finally my turn to get their autograph.I wanted to get rachel an autograph poster but it limited to one poster to one person.This is what kinda happened when i met the boys…the details are kinda sketchy..
i was so star struck that i had the same answer and face expression through the whole meet and greet.
Tim:Hey!nice to meet you!*he hands out his hand for a shake*
me:hey!nice to meet you too(in a squicky voice)*shook his hand*

Jon:whats your name?
me:Ilianna

and that was the end of the meet and greet.i wanted to take picture but the stupid guard pushed me away.im like “hey.its only a picture.its not like im gonna kill them or something”.pphhhhhhhhhhh..i was kinda pissed off but then they were giving out free Switchfoot posters so i was happy again!haha…they had freakishly huge hands!seriously,it was like twice the size of mine!they were super sweet and nice.

after the meet and greet,Eka came towards me and ameera and she was like “the second dude asked me my name!”and im like “thats Jon”.she’s like “he asked me my name!!”.ameera and i was like “he asked for our names too!!!”. hahaha..you should see the disappointment on her face,it was priceless.sorry to burst your bubble dude!
